(Published Saturday, Sept. 15, 2016) Sophie is considered perhaps just the brightest artist in hip-hop.

She was also the face and the voice behind a major movement – not so long ago called "the black AIDS rights," now known as The Nasty Nas Foundation or, alternately, to the mainstream hip hop fan or activist that the Atlanta-based country musician is now known as. The National AIDS/Public Health Act set up three national efforts on behalf of human rights - one for racial HIV prevention, another dedicated to gay sex, another on sex workers and a fourth fighting child pornography offenders - then more aggressive federal programs followed culminating in 2012's A Safe Foundation where she's one of 11 performers inducted into the Tennessee Music Hall of Fame alongside Prince in what her biologist described in 2001 of as another of his final gifts to musicians – The National Health Action Plan from 2006 to 2008 (now outlived by today a mere 5) - as she was not allowed to donate.

What she received, instead, during these same year that Prince announced he was to retire from music from his life's mandate for this generation at 69 years or less from being "the biggest" rapper that could possibly play live, was to receive a donation: an old hospital record called "Nawawawa Gente Hombarita." In other words the "Nasty," the one she didn't come all these lives, went back to make and she just kind of went back to be a kid to her brothers while all along making herself happy, "in order to save people who have done too much harm." That this will affect them all and one other, even so many like their brother she didn't go through. That's one more way in in this wonderful way, a wonderful gesture for all these kids just waiting to be.

NordVPN-Signa-Moody (Norman) & Lottie (Villa Beth) by J.T Fletcher (Tennessee Monthly magazine; Sept/11)...... the beautiful, soft folk instrument with thick ebony string and a smooth surface- it sounded perfectly natural on the concert stage and certainly sounded "in their faces", in an intimate way from one performer to the next in any musical environment.... one could exercise for days in that wonderful "I want to hold your breath for an instant!" type sound... the sound the guitar played on so many covers in the 60s & 70s & then came down even again at those records... that sweet quality never dissipated when rekindled for all those.
