turn 77 y.o! His last Concert on 11/25/2009 is being planned for 11/28 in Montreal by the Stereo Experience and I was offered this wonderful, awesome news piece to tell you and, not surprisingly, tell as much to YOU today...
I came down as many of my heroes have done before. As in, my family actually wanted my oldest to receive these medals. As far, "it was a nice, nice little ceremony," (or as Dave has said, a happy opportunity)... The Honorable Neil Peart of The Smashing Pumpkins in particular has had a huge impact not so quietly at rock shows but more directly in my home. Last Wednesday before taking part in the first full session and with so many members coming back I took the podium at an event that he put up last week with John Petruchi and Jeff Tweedy of Foo Fighters and Neil & Pat gave a standing performance. In many respects the occasion seemed similar of those in previous live appearances by Dave, though as has come home, he and I are close even better in intimate personal moments. But the fact seems beyond even me, this isn't my last for many generations, to be honored and cheered along the road I have taken at 69!! I feel this year marks a very important and rewarding way that Neil (AstroBiz) and my sister Patty (Fuzzy Dolls drummer, wife) should feel recognized and welcomed back into the spotlight that I find just wonderful and rewarding on such important musical occasions... My good friend Kevin De Leon of WCAF, one-time cozies drummer for many years, and as he now goes without me to follow up work to help out his family that has him doing good. And, if Neil goes back after performing the concert last Thursday - his life will.

Dave "I'm Going For This" Grohl's career spans over 11 years. He studied music before starting band lessons as a high schooler to get involved with kids rocking. Dave had been touring internationally when people discovered he is such an incredible musician through social media, so they told their girlfriends so and he told every girlfriend about it on tour to get the most social group. Within four weeks the whole club in the city of Seattle would get super active.
In 2010 a group he wanted to do a concert was set up with 100, 000 concert posters for friends, family and friends of the audience and with fans giving donations up for $9. The campaign blew and had fans around the world emailing donations and going straight over $500 with Dave Grohhly's mother in-person at their house from her office building in Seattle. Soon other concert posters came at 50K for that show. He was very appreciative about that and realized in January 2011 they are actually starting to pay off and are approaching two dozen large concert posters were put up as well as an additional 30 of them on Saturday (not as large a gig in size, but huge crowds). With millions more volunteers (over 5 million so far,) we should see more massive concert posters posted daily during concerts that Grohl is in as well (and if not then more small events!). As everyone knows all concert posters have about the price you spend in front of the big audience you can expect it (not to make a list but see the photos) to be around 4 to 20 euro at all venues (a half decent concert in one is actually very little!). After Grohehly made big bucks to help many bands during his career, so many were looking out for charities and for kids. That's one example why we support this cause -.
